Research in the Fehrenbacher lab focuses on modern and past oceanography using (primarily) the geochemistry and ecology of planktic foraminifera.
Lab members study paleoceanographic reconstructions and paleo-proxy methods development, biomineralization, foraminifera genetics and microbiome associations.
